In his book “Wonderland: How to Play Made the Modern World”, Steven Johnson revealed that many innovations that changed the world came from those who played.
Scot Osterweil (Creative Director of MIT Education Arcade & LUDENARA.org Advisory Board) also reminded us that playing gives us 4 freedoms:
• Freedom to fail
• Freedom to explore
• Freedom to see from a different perspective
• Freedom to try according to our abilities
Today, we face the same challenges. We should play together. So then we can freely try, free to explore ideas, free to see from many points of view, and free to do many things according to our abilities.
So that we are able to adapt, innovate and transform – solving all the challenges we are currently facing together. Because of that, we need a leader who is truly capable of playing – a PLAYFUL LEADER.
As the rumor says, they are everywhere. If you’re lucky enough, you might be able to find it when you look inside yourself with gratitude and happiness.
