Mathematics and Trello on Sharing Day
After absent in October, Sharing Day is back again on November. This month’s Sharing Day only features Eko talked about 2 different yet interesting topics, Trello and mathematics.
The first session, Eko talked about mathematics behind game design. This topic was specially requested by Rio beforehand. Eko shared about the 3 most important mathematics concepts for game design, which are permutations, combinations and algebra. These concepts help balancing the game and lead to probabilities that players can take while playing the game. While the calculation can be very complicated, Eko emphasized on using Excel to track and do all the mathematics calculation.
The second session was about using Trello to maximizing work management. As we already used Kanban Board in the office, Trello seems very familiar. But Kanban Board cannot be use during Winter Time, so Trello can keep track of works while the team’s not in the office.
